PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) intends to invite companies for the re-prequalification for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of PKT Soda Ash Project (the “PROJECT”) located in Bontang, East Kalimantan.

It is anticipated that the PROJECT shall be executed by a Main Contractor in the form of:

(i) Single Local EPC Company (BUJKN); or

(ii) Consortium or Joint Operation (JO) between a Local EPC Company (BUJKN) and a Local EPC Company (BUJKN); or

(iii) Consortium or Joint Operation (JO) between a Local EPC Company (BUJKN) and a Foreign EPC Company (BUJKA); or

(iv) Consortium or Joint Operation (JO) between a Local EPC Company (BUJKN) and a BUJK-PMA.

All required data and documents as well as information (prequalification proposal) stated in the prequalification document shall be submitted not later than September 20th 2023 (14.00 Jakarta Time).

For applicant(s) who was/were declared to be the successful applicant(s) in the previous PKT Soda Ash Project prequalification process, and intends to participate in this prequalification process may choose not to re-submit its/their data and documents which have been duly submitted in the previous prequalification process, subject to the condition or provided that:

(a) it must carefully review and ensure that any and all prequalification requirements under this prequalification process have been duly fulfilled and relevant with its previous data and documents;

(b) it makes declaration regarding the validity of its data and document that have been duly submitted in the previous prequalification process; and

(c) such applicant(s) will be constituted or deemed as new applicant(s) along with the other applicants. Such applicant’s data and documents will be evaluated in this prequalification process.

Any party intends to participate in the prequalification Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of PKT Soda Ash Project must and shall submit its Letter of Expression of Interest and Notification to Participate in accordance with the form as set forth in the prequalification document, at the latest ten (10) calendar days as of the date of this invitation/announcement (Maximum submission not later than September 18th 2023, 14.00 Jakarta Time).

Any and all cost incurred by the company (applicant) in this prequalification shall be solely borne by the company (applicant) and SHALL NOT be reimbursed by PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) under any circumstances.
