NGANJUK - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has again inaugurated a commercial or non-subsidized fertilizer kiosk in Nganjuk Regency, East Java.

Pupuk Indonesia's Commercial Kiosk Senior Project Manager (SPM), Rika Susanty, said that her party is currently continuing to expand the network of non-subsidized fertilizer kiosks. At present the expansion is prioritized in the area of ​​agricultural centers in various regions, including in Nganjuk.

"All of this is a form of Pupuk Indonesia's presence and concern to always get closer to the farming community, as an implementation of BUMN Present for the Nation. The presence of Pe-i Stores in the midst of the community will make Pupuk Indonesia even closer and the public will have more confidence in accordance with the tagline Pe-i Shops The Closer the More Confident, "explained Rika.

"The presence of Toko Pe-i as the official Pupuk Indonesia outlet in Nganjuk is in order to pamper farmers to obtain guarantees of originality of fertilizers, guarantees that fertilizers are always available and provide agricultural solutions. The agricultural solution is in the form of examining soil samples from farmers' fields to check their soil nutrient levels so that they can provide fertilizer recommendations according to their fertilization needs, plus educational services from agronomists who assist farmers in applying fertilizers and pesticides according to their needs and at the right time of use so that can improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products and in the end will improve the welfare of farmers. Added Eko Suroso, SVP Gresik Petrochemical Business Transformation who attended the inauguration.

"With all the advantages available at Toko Pe-i, we urge the farming community not to waste it. Get the education, get the quality of the fertilizer, the right application, increase the agricultural output and ultimately increase the welfare of the farmers. Muslim Harsoyo, Head of the Nganjuk Regency Agriculture Service, said after inaugurating the Pe-i Shop in Mojorembun Village, Rejoso District, Nganjuk, Friday (11/25/2022).

Apart from the inauguration of the Pe-i Store, Pupuk Indonesia also held a prize celebration for local farmers. Prizes are given by lottery for purchases made by previous farmers, as well as direct prizes for purchasing fertilizers at the inauguration ceremony, especially ZA Plus and Phonska Alam fertilizer products.

Rika further stated that her party targets to develop 1,000 Pe-i Stores within the next one year. Therefore, his party opens opportunities for cooperation to various interested parties, both individuals and business entities that have complete retail sales business licenses.

The business scheme is in the form of a Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) partnership, where partners own and operate Pe-i Stores independently. The advantage of being a partner is being able to provide guarantees that are an advantage or added value for partners. The guarantees referred to include the authenticity of fertilizer products, product quality assurance, fertilizer availability guarantees, promotional activities that have an impact on product sales, to the use of technology through the systems and applications that have been provided.

"With this format, we also hope to attract the interest of the millennial generation to be able to develop their business in the agricultural sector by becoming partners with Pupuk Indonesia," said Rika.

While the requirements for becoming Pe-i Shop Partners are Indonesian Citizens (WNI) who already have Citizenship Card (KTP) and business entities or individuals Tax Identification Card Number (NPWP), have a business identification number (NIB), have a building with adequate area and proper size and shape, and adequate capital or good financial condition.

Until now Pupuk Indonesia has worked with 114 Pe-i Shop partners spread across Java, Bali, Sumatra and Kalimantan since August 2022 and is still growing towards 1,000 Pe-i Shops by the end of 2023.
