JOGJAKARTA - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) is committed to continuously improving its subsidized fertilizer distribution service which is marked by Go Live Single Responsibility. Through this program, it is hoped that services to customers, especially farmers who receive subsidized fertilizers, will continue to be improved, and the distribution and distribution of subsidized fertilizers and other company products can improve. This program will improve the harmonization of the management of the Public Service Obligation (PSO), namely the assignment of subsidized fertilizer distribution, members of the holding member of the Pupuk Indonesia Group.
President Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Bakir Pasaman said that the Single Responsibility program is one of the company's strategic steps, in order to improve performance and optimize PSO Marketing function by increasing distribution services or distribution of subsidized fertilizers.
"Harmonization of PSO management through the Single Responsibility program for PSO management, as one of the company's strategic steps, in order to improve performance and optimize PSO marketing functions in addition to other strategic steps such as PSO area zoning, harmonization of non-subsidized products, joint procurement, and asset commercialization," he said. said Bakir at the launch of the Single Responsibility program in Yogyakarta, Monday (5/9/2022).
Bakir revealed that the Single Responsibility program was Pupuk Indonesia Group's quick response to the issuance of new regulations regarding subsidized fertilizers contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture (Permentan) Number 10 of 2022.
According to Bakir, the Single Responsibility program has several objectives, such as optimizing the mechanism for distributing subsidized fertilizers to be more flexible and dynamic because changes in zoning can be carried out at any time without disrupting regional sales distribution activities. Then, this program is also to develop the competence of marketing personnel, especially Account Executives (AE) and Assistant Account Executives (AAE) in the field. So that it can improve the skills of marketing personnel in the field in serving customers.
"Marketers who previously managed products from one subsidiary, will be able to manage all products in a region. So that their competence will increase more comprehensively," he explained. The Single Responsibility Program also improves the performance culture of marketing personnel to be more effective. So, whoever the marketer is in an area has to handle all the products.
However, Bakir revealed that the Single Responsibility PSO management strategic step must also be followed by effective and efficient anticipatory measures, so that the distribution of subsidized fertilizers is not disrupted and runs smoothly.
To that end, Pupuk Indonesia also continues to transform and digitize in the field of marketing and controlling and monitoring the distribution of subsidized fertilizers through the Application Integration of DIMAS, REKAN, MARKISA and WCM.
"Hopefully, with the launching of the PSO Management Single Responsibility program, the centralization and Single Responsibility PSO Management program can be carried out smoothly and accompanied by concrete steps in the form of sharp and measurable milestones," said Bakir.
