PI Niaga Visits Children's Cancer Shelter
PT Pupuk Indonesia Niaga provides assistance to the Anyo Indonesia Foundation, or better known as Rumah Anyo. The assistance was handed over by representatives from PI Niaga to the Chair of the Anyo Indonesia Foundation, Pinta Manulang at Rumah Anyo – West Jakarta, Friday (19/12/2023).
Rumah Anyo is a halfway house that functions as a temporary residence for underprivileged children with cancer and their companions who come from various regions in Indonesia, who come to Jakarta to undergo treatment.
Anyo halfway house is an alternative for cancer sufferers from the area because of its location close to Dharmais Hospital (RS) and Harapan Kita Children's and Mother's Hospital (RSAB). Rumah Anyo itself can accommodate around 24 patients, where fees are waived for families who cannot afford it, while operational costs are obtained from donors.
Meanwhile, VP Public Relations of Pupuk Indonesia Niaga, Shinta Martani, said that PI Niaga was consistent in channeling the company's TJSL funds to help other people.
This assistance is a form of corporate responsibility as well as an expression of gratitude for PI Niaga's 53 year anniversary. "We also invite all PI Niaga people to contribute by helping Rumah Anyo. "What is being done is not only seen from the size and size of the amount, but it is a form of concern from PI Niaga people towards others who need help," said Shinta.
