CIKAMPEK - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) instills Akhlak moral values from an early age through the AKAR Program. The AKAR Family Values Program is the company's effort to instill AKHLAK Core Values not only among employees but also within their families. After introducing AKHLAK to the families of Pupuk Indonesia employees, the management of Pupuk Indonesia is now attempting to promote AKHLAK in schools located within the Pupuk Indonesia environment, encouraging children to implement the values of Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative.

This socialization event was conducted by SVP Culture and Learning at Pupuk Indonesia, Eko Cahyo Dewi Oktori, for elementary and middle school students at Kujang, held at the PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek (PKC) office. "The Akar Program is a new initiative at Pupuk Indonesia. We plan to expand this program, and the first step is taking it into the education sector by introducing it to elementary and middle schools in Kujang, West Java," stated Eko.

Eko emphasized that building an AKHLAK culture is crucial in accelerating better behavioral changes. Therefore, through the Akar Program, Pupuk Indonesia hopes to cultivate an AKHLAK culture and ensure its consistency and sustainability. "Whether consciously or unconsciously, these AKHLAK values motivate every decision made and action taken, necessitating our understanding and interpretation of the fundamentals of behavior," he added.

Furthermore, Eko expressed that families serve as excellent agents of socialization, where primary social interactions occur for each individual. Senior family members play a significant role in teaching the basic rules and norms of life in accordance with AKHLAK to all family members.

Through the Akar program, Pupuk Indonesia aims for family members to understand AKHLAK values, as these core values can help reduce the potential for conflicts and create a harmonious and supportive environment. "Therefore, our effort today is to introduce AKHLAK core values with the hope that they will become part of our culture. To become a culture, we must first introduce the behaviors that eventually become a good culture," he concluded.

The AKHLAK socialization activities conducted by Pupuk Indonesia were well received by the students and teachers at Kujang Elementary and Middle Schools. According to them, the core values of AKHLAK provide significant benefits for everyday life.

"I am very pleased with today's event because it's something new for me. The AKAR program can be implemented in daily life because it teaches us to do good, be loyal, be competent, and work with dedication," expressed Jamal Muhammad, a student at Kujang Middle School in Cikampek.

Indra Gautama, a teacher at Kujang Middle School in Cikampek, pointed out that AKHLAK values can be incorporated into both school learning activities and extracurricular activities. "Today's event is very impressive because AKHLAK values that were initially implemented only within the state-owned enterprise environment can now be introduced to schools through the Akar program. Moreover, the implementation can be carried out in schools through Akar games, led by teachers or parents. Because the core values of AKHLAK can be instilled in schools or in everyday learning activities," concluded Indra.
