Pupuk Indonesia: Redeem Subsidized Fertilizer, Now Just Use KTP
BALI – Farmers in five provinces in Indonesia have now redeemed subsidized fertilizers simply by bringing their KTPs to the kiosk. Director of Business Transformation of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Panji Winanteya Ruky said the Government, in this case the Ministry of SOEs through Pupuk Indonesia in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, has developed digitization of fertilizer kiosks to facilitate recording of transactions, increase transparency, prevent irregularities and simplify the fertilizer redemption process. subsidized.
"With this digitization, farmers just have to come to the official fertilizer kiosk and show their KTP. Data regarding allocations, types of commodities and others, have all been recorded in the system. Easy redemption, right on target," said Panji while visiting the Subak Lumbung Sari Krama Cooperative Kiosk, Tremesi Village, Gianyar District, Bali Province, Monday (3/7/2023). "Farmers are no longer complicated, kiosk owners are facilitated, and benefits for the Government also minimize the risk of irregularities or fertilizer received by unauthorized people," added Panji.
Panji said that this system was already running in 5 (five) provinces. The digitization of this kiosk is a follow-up to President Joko Widodo's directives to the Ministry of BUMN and the Ministry of Agriculture some time ago. Where one of the directions is to improve subsidized fertilizer governance through digitalization.
“This is part of Pupuk Indonesia's efforts to improve services to the community, especially by making fertilizer distribution easier and more targeted. Until 2023, five provinces have implemented it, namely Bali, Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Riau and South Kalimantan," explained Panji. The system called iPubers is a digital application based on NIK, this system is the result of cooperation between PT Pupuk Indonesia and the Ministry of Agriculture. Currently, a total of 697 kiosks have implemented this system.
Panji further explained that the digitization of subsidized fertilizer redemption in Bali itself had been running effectively since 2022. The same system was also implemented in Aceh Besar District in early 2023. After the two provinces, the Ministry of BUMN through Pupuk Indonesia continued to expand the process of subsidized fertilizer redemption digitally. Last week, Tuesday (27/6/2023), the Ministry of Agriculture officially implemented kiosk digitization in three provinces at once, namely the Provinces of Bangka Belitung, Riau and South Kalimantan.
"So now farmers in five provinces can redeem subsidized fertilizers very easily, that is, just go to the kiosk in person and show your KTP," added Panji.
In the same place, SEVP of Indonesian Pupuk Marketing Operations, Gatoet Gembiro Noegroho explained that after the subsidized farmers show their KTP, the kiosk owner will then scan the NIK on the KTP to access the farmers' subsidized fertilizer allocation data. Next, the kiosk will enter the amount of the redemption transaction and the farmer will sign the transaction receipt on the screen of the device used. Farmers were also photographed with their fertilizer as proof of subsidized fertilizer redemption. This data is stored digitally, so farmers and kiosks no longer need to fill out paper forms.
Therefore, continued Gatoet, Pupuk Indonesia hopes to get feedback from kiosk owners and farmers in the five provinces. This will be part of the evaluation process to improve the quality of subsidized fertilizer redemption services. Because in the future the digitization of kiosks will be expanded in Pupuk Indonesia's official network of kiosks throughout Indonesia.
