JAKARTA - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) supports the RI Ministry of SOEs' program to create safe and comfortable homecoming in various regions by establishing "Happy Homecoming with BUMN 2023" posts. These homecoming posts are located at two points, namely at Gambir Station, Jakarta and Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya.

Pupuk Indonesia's SVP Corporate Secretary, Wijaya Laksana said that the two posts were a synergy with other state-owned companies. For homecoming posts at Gambir Station, Pupuk Indonesia is collaborating with Indonesian Railways (KAI) and Bank Mandiri. Meanwhile, at Tanjung Perak Port, Pupuk Indonesia is collaborating with Pelindo.

Wijaya also mentioned that the two posts were established at the main homecoming node. The hope is that this post can become a temporary resting place for travelers. Because Gambir Station and Tanjung Perak Harbor are generally the hubs for travelers with long-distance routes

"A comfortable homecoming trip will certainly add happiness and a fun impression when Eid is in your hometown. In addition, a comfortable homecoming trip will keep travelers from getting tired and stay focused on the trip," said Wijaya.

Various facilities are provided free of charge at each post, such as health care facilities, in the form of massage and medicine, then baby equipment, breaking the fast and refreshment facilities, such as warm drinks along with snacks and takjil. As well as photobooth stand entertainment facilities with a variety of interesting spots.

Wijaya explained, this activity was carried out simultaneously with other SOEs throughout Indonesia in the "Happy Homecoming with SOEs" program starting from Kalimantan, Java, Bali, Sulawesi to Sumatra. The homecoming post will take place on April 19-21 2023, then followed by a return post on April 25-May 1 2023.

"The facilities at the Fun Homecoming with BUMN Command Post can also be enjoyed by the community during the return flow after Eid," said Wijaya.

He further appealed to the public to prioritize safety during homecoming trips, by driving in an orderly manner. Given the volume of vehicles will be very crowded during the return trip or return flow later.

"Our happiness and friendship will be even more perfect if we can all be safe on our homecoming and return trips. Through this post, Pupuk Indonesia wants to always be present in the midst of society and at various moments of happiness," concluded Wijaya.
