Rekind Wins Best EPC Company in Renewable Energy

PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) won the Best EPC Company in Renewable Energy award at the 2025 Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA) held at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday (July 4th).
The award was accepted by Rekind's Corporate
Secretary, Budi Adi Nugroho, representing the Board of Directors, from the
Chairman of the 2025 IBEA Jury, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tumiran, M.Eng., IPU. For Rekind, this recognition is not merely
an award, but a reflection of the company's concrete contribution to supporting
the clean energy transition, both nationally and globally. Furthermore, this award also demonstrates Rekind's
readiness through its strong commitment to implementing every EPC project,
including clean energy projects, with the principles of innovation and
collaboration. This commitment is demonstrated, among
other things, through the provision of input and more efficient design
suggestions. The goal is to ensure the projects are
superior, even exceeding the agreed work contract requirements. This efficiency is achieved by selecting
technology, equipment, and configurations that produce optimal and efficient
net power output. For example, in the construction of
Geothermal Power Plants (PLTP), Rekind adopts the latest technology to maximize
geothermal energy while minimizing potential emissions and environmental
impacts. "Our innovation lies in selecting the right
technology, equipment, and configuration. We want to produce optimal and
efficient net power output," stated Rekind President Director Triyani
Utaminingsih in a separate meeting. One example, Triyani added, is in the construction
of PLTPs, where Rekind utilizes the latest technology to maximize geothermal
potential while maintaining low emissions and environmental impacts. However, for Rekind, technical innovation is only
one side of the coin. Strategic collaboration is an integral
element of the company's journey. Budi Adi Nugroho explained that Rekind
actively collaborates with research institutions, universities, and the
government in various renewable energy technology developments. "We are involved in research into
biofuel development, soil investigation, rare earth metal research, and the
utilization of empty oil palm fruit bunches. All of this is aimed at producing
solutions that are not only efficient but also bring broad benefits to the
industry and the environment," explained Budi enthusiastically. The principle of sustainability is also a concrete
step that Rekind prioritizes in every project it undertakes. From the planning stage to implementation,
Rekind ensures that all activities comply with environmental regulations,
calculates potential emissions and waste, and applies environmentally friendly
