Srikandi Pupuk Indonesia Assists Liza Thohir Distributes Aid to Cianjur Earthquake Victims
CIANJUR (7/12) - Srikandi of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) accompanied SOE Minister Liza Thohir to distribute aid to earthquake victims in Cianjur, West Java (West Java). This activity shows the presence of BUMN to the people of Cianjur, especially those affected by the earthquake.
The delivery of assistance was given directly by the SOE Minister Liza Thohir at 3 SOE post points through the SOE Earthquake Disaster Task Force chaired by Jasa Marga. Accompanying the Director of Human Resources, Governance & Risk Management at Pupuk Indonesia who also serves as Chairperson of Srikandi BUMN, Tina T. Kemala Intan and Yuni Setyaningrum representatives of Srikandi Pupuk Indonesia who are also Director of Finance and General Affairs of PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek.
In the activity of providing assistance, Liza Thohir visited the BUMN post located in Mekarsari Village. There, he met residents of the posko and visited health facilities and child-friendly houses which were used as trauma healing centers for children affected by the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.
"Children who were victims of this earthquake are the most vulnerable group after the disaster. We hope that the Trauma Healing Recovery Post can reduce trauma and restore their smiles," said Liza Thohir.
Various aids were distributed to the 3 main posts in the form of food, drinks, new clothes, sanitation equipment, public kitchens, and also medicines. Meanwhile, this assistance came from several BUMNs such as PT Pertamina, Bank Mandiri, Pupuk Indonesia, PT PP, Bio Farma, Jasa Marga, PLN, Angkasa Pura II, Bank BNI, Bank BRI, MIND ID, Perum Bulog, and HIN. There was also assistance coming from SOE Srikandi, Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI), and Young SOEs.
On the same occasion, Pupuk Indonesia Director of HR, Governance & Risk Management, Tina T. Kemala Intan said that the presence of Mrs. Minister Liza Thohir was a form of BUMN concern for the people of Cianjur. The assistance that continues to be distributed is coordinated by the BUMN Disaster Task Force Team consisting of a combination of 31 BUMNs involved in handling the Cianjur earthquake disaster.
"Not only aid in food, clothing, clean water and medicine, we also ensure that the condition of the victims after the earthquake is also well monitored. There are public kitchens that provide ready-to-eat food and also health workers who are on standby at the evacuation posts.” explained Tina.
Currently, there are more than 700 volunteers from 75 SOEs who are continuously on standby in handling the earthquake in Cianjur. And to this day BUMN has assisted in the recovery of 57 of the 169 villages affected by the Cianjur earthquake.
