Panen Raya di Blora, Pupuk Indonesia: Petroganik Tingkatkan Produktivitas Padi dan Lestarikan Lingkungan

Blora, March 21, 2025 - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has succeeded in increasing rice productivity in Blora Regency, Central Java by around 17.2 percent by using subsidized organic fertilizer Petroganik. This increase can be seen from the results of the "Rembuk Tani & Panen Raya Petroganik" program in Kamolan Village, Blora District, Friday (3/21/2025).
Previously, farmers' rice cultivation productivity was only 6.5 tons per hectare. Meanwhile, rice productivity on the Petroganik demonstration plot (demplot) or pilot land in Kamolan Village, Blora increased to 7.4 tons per hectare. This is due to the consistent use of Petroganik and as an effort to maintain environmental sustainability and realize sustainable agriculture.
Pupuk Indonesia Marketing Director, Tri Wahyudi Saleh, said that Pupuk Indonesia took the initiative to conduct a Petroganik demonstration plot to provide an example to farmers. The combination of the use of inorganic and organic fertilizers can have a significant impact on increasing productivity.
"We from Pupuk Indonesia are educating farmers to use organic fertilizers in order to balance the use of organic and inorganic fertilizers. Alhamdulillah, with the use of balanced fertilizers, it can show quite good results," said Tri Wahyudi.
Tri Wahyudi said that the C-Organic content of agricultural land in Blora Regency, based on sample test results, is still low or below 2 percent. This condition also occurs for the average agricultural land in Indonesia.
From the use of Petroganik with a dose of 500 kilograms per hectare, he said, the condition of the planting looks quite good. It is hoped that this demonstration plot cultivation system will be duplicated by farmers in Blora Regency, so that consistent use of Petroganik can increase productivity for agricultural land in Blora Regency, in order to realize national food self-sufficiency.
"This is our cooperation program from Pupuk Indonesia, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Regional Government to support President Prabowo's Asta Cita for food self-sufficiency. This demonstration plot is not only here but also in several regions," said Tri Wahyudi.
He further explained that in 2025, Blora Regency has the second largest allocation of subsidized fertilizer in Central Java Province. The total allocation reaches 122,500 tons, with details of 67,500 tons of Urea, 50,000 NPK Phonska, and 5,000 tons of Organic. Specifically for subsidized Organic fertilizer, Blora Regency gets 10 percent of the total allocation of Central Java of 50,341 tons.
Meanwhile, regarding the realization of subsidized fertilizer distribution in Blora to date, it is at 27,208 tons or 22 percent of the total allocation. As a comparison, the percentage of redemption of subsidized fertilizer in Central Java is still 18 percent or 246,165 tons. "Blora's absorption is ranked fifth nationally. Blora's absorption is above the national average absorption," said Tri Wahyudi.
Specifically for the distribution of Petroganik organic fertilizer in Blora, according to Tri Wahyudi, it is quite good, because now it has reached 44 percent of the allocation. He hopes that awareness of the redemption of subsidized fertilizer will be followed by other farmers in Central Java to get more optimal harvest results.
Director of Fertilizer and Pesticides of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) of the Republic of Indonesia, Jekvy Hendra, gave his appreciation to all Blora stakeholders who are the main support or leaders for the development of organic fertilizers. The use of Petroganik fertilizer, he explained, does not eliminate the use of chemical fertilizers. But rather balances the use of organic fertilizers with chemical fertilizers. The hope is that soil sustainability can be maintained.
"Today, the latest data shows that Blora has a high absorption of Petroganik organic fertilizers, and is one of the highest in Indonesia. This is the spirit that we must cultivate," said Jekvy during the harvest in Kamolan Village.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman, who was also present at the harvest, said that his party is determined to become one of Central Java's food barns. Therefore, he represented the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) to express his gratitude for the education from Pupuk Indonesia together with the Ministry of Agriculture.
"Hopefully more farmers will use Petroganik. Because the results are good, we ask the Agriculture Service together with the ranks to develop the use of this good product," said the Regent.
On this occasion, Pupuk Indonesia held the Rembuk Tani program which is a forum for the Company's socialization to ensure wider and more affordable access to fertilizer for farmers, as well as encourage increased agricultural yields through dialogue and special discount programs. This initiative is expected to help farmers achieve optimal harvest results at efficient costs.
In the Rembuk Tani program, Pupuk Indonesia held a promotional program for purchasing transactions of Petroganik and Phonska Plus fertilizers during Ramadan. With a minimum purchase of Rp200,000, farmers are entitled to a raffle coupon and have the opportunity to win various attractive prizes.
