Wonogiri, November 21, 2024 – To accelerate the distribution of subsidized fertilizers for 2024 and support farmers during the planting season, PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) held a “Rembuk Tani” event in Wonogiri, Central Java, on Saturday (11/21/2024).

Antonius Yudhi Kristyanto, Senior Manager for Central Java & Yogyakarta at Pupuk Indonesia, explained that Rembuk Tani aims to ensure broader and more affordable access to fertilizers while boosting agricultural productivity through dialogue and special discount programs. This initiative is expected to help farmers achieve optimal harvests with cost efficiency.

“We want to ensure that farmers’ fertilizer needs are met in terms of both availability and affordability. Through our support, we hope to inspire enthusiasm and optimism among farmers as they enter this planting season,” Yudhi said.

During the Rembuk Tani event, farmers could enjoy a variety of special discounts. A key feature of the program is a voucher offering a Rp50,000 discount for each purchase of subsidized fertilizers at official kiosks, valid until December 20, 2024. Available subsidized fertilizers include Urea, NPK, and Organic fertilizers, all formulated to meet crop needs and subsidized as per Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture (Permentan) No. 1 of 2024.

In line with government policy, the process for obtaining subsidized fertilizers at kiosks has become significantly faster and easier. Farmers now only need to present their National ID Card (KTP) as their primary form of identification at official kiosks.

Additionally, the program offered a 40% discount on NPK Phonska Plus, a premium non-subsidized fertilizer designed to enhance crop yields. This discount was available exclusively during the event, providing farmers with the opportunity to purchase high-quality fertilizers at more affordable prices.

Beyond discounts, Rembuk Tani featured discussions between Pupuk Indonesia representatives, local agricultural offices, and farmers. These sessions provided farmers with valuable information on fertilizer access and distribution, as well as practical tips for using fertilizers efficiently while achieving optimal yields.

This two-way dialogue also aimed to strengthen communication between Pupuk Indonesia and farming communities, fostering sustainable collaboration toward achieving food self-sufficiency.

“With a spirit of collaboration, Pupuk Indonesia is committed to supporting farmers through every stage of their journey toward national food independence. Rembuk Tani is not just an event but a tangible commitment to building stronger food security for a more prosperous and sustainable future for Indonesia,” Yudhi concluded.
