Jakarta, April 5, 2024 - Pupuk Indonesia Group supports the Mudik Asyik Together with SOEs 2024 program, officially launched today by all SOEs at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta. Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir dispatched nearly 100 thousand participants for the free SOE's homecoming, marked by the joint flag-off with Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, on Friday (4/5/2024).

Pupuk Indonesia President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, explained that five Pupuk Indonesia subsidiaries engaged in fertilizer business also actively participated in this free homecoming. Thousands of homecomers were dispatched from their respective operational areas, namely Pupuk Indonesia from Jakarta, Petrokimia Gresik from Gresik (East Java), Pupuk Kujang from Karawang (West Java), Pupuk Kalimantan Timur from Bontang City (East Kalimantan), Pupuk Iskandar Muda from North Aceh (Aceh), and Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang from Palembang City (South Sumatra).

"Pupuk Indonesia supports the Mudik Asyik Together with SOEs program, directly launched by the Minister of SOEs, Mr. Erick Thohir. Today, Pupuk Indonesia is taking homecoming participants to Solo, Central Java. Homecoming is a highly anticipated moment for the community every year. Therefore, Pupuk Indonesia supports the Mudik Asyik Together with SOEs 2024 program by actively participating," Rahmad said.

The number of participants in Mudik Asyik Together with SOEs 2024 has increased by 40 percent compared to the previous year. This year, there are 88 SOEs and SOE Subsidiaries participating in supporting and providing free homecoming for the public, led by PT Jasa Raharja and Forum TJSL SOEs. More than 94,753 homecomers, divided into three modes of transportation, namely 1,536 buses for 70,179 bus passengers, 60 trains for 19,122 train passengers, and 30 ships for 5,452 ship passengers, with destinations to more than 200 cities across Indonesia.

"This program encourages homecomers' migration to be safer and more comfortable by using public transportation. Moreover, it is a manifestation of the commitment of the Ministry of SOEs and SOEs in consistently supporting the conduct of a conducive homecoming flow by prioritizing the safety and security of homecomers. With this program, it is hoped that a safer, more comfortable, and healthier journey for homecomers will be created," stated Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

This year's Together Homecoming with SOEs introduces innovations in special services for disabled homecomers and provides electric buses to support environmental sustainability. This step is taken to ensure that every homecomer can enjoy a comfortable journey home without obstacles while providing an inclusive travel experience for all homecomers, while maintaining safety, comfort, and environmental sustainability.

Therefore, Erick expressed that the Together Homecoming with SOEs plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of homecoming participants. After all, as much as 77 percent of traffic accidents come from users of two-wheeled vehicles.

He hopes that this program, which has been running for 5 years, can be continued because it is part of SOE's concern. In line with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to alleviate the obstacles faced by the community. Especially today, purchasing power is declining and SOEs will be present to help the needs of the community.
