Pupuk Indonesia Achieves Four Awards at the 2024 State-Owned Enterprises Awards
Jakarta, March 15, 2024 - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero)'s excellent performance has garnered four awards at the 13th State-Owned Enterprises Awards 2024. These awards include First Best Organizational Transformation; First Best Company Program for SME Development; and Best Corporate in Producing the Largest N-Based Fertilizer in the World. Additionally, Pupuk Indonesia's President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, was also honored as The Best CEO Visionary Leadership.
"This is a pride, not only for me personally but also for the entire Pupuk Indonesia family. Especially, in this event, the Pupuk Indonesia Group, Pupuk Indonesia, along with its subsidiaries, received ten awards. This is evidence that Pupuk Indonesia is not only large in its business scale, not only in its profit level, but Pupuk Indonesia is also big and great in its performance," Rahmad said after attending the award ceremony in Jakarta on Wednesday (3/13/2024).
He expressed gratitude for the appreciation and awards given by BUMN Track as the organizer of the State-Owned Enterprises Awards. These awards are evidence that Pupuk Indonesia is a transformative company, committed to contributing to society, including providing support to SMEs to go global. "This is an award that hopefully will drive the Pupuk Indonesia Group to achieve even greater accomplishments," Rahmad said.
Furthermore, he explained that the organizational transformation carried out by the Pupuk Indonesia Group began with the centralization program of several strategic functions starting in 2020. Furthermore, in 2024, Pupuk Indonesia will strengthen this transformation by restructuring the business within the Pupuk Indonesia Group. This is aimed at enhancing competitiveness in realizing Pupuk Indonesia's vision as a world-class national company, as a leader in providing sustainable agricultural solutions, and as an integrated petrochemical company at the global level.
He also added that in conducting its business operations, Pupuk Indonesia, as the largest fertilizer producer in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa regions, pays attention to Indonesian SMEs to compete in the global market. Considering that SMEs are an integral part of the national economy, contributing almost 61% to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employing around 97% of the workforce. To date, Pupuk Indonesia has provided mentoring and capital assistance to 2,221 SMEs across Indonesia, with 257 of them operating in the industrial sector, including the creative industry.
Meanwhile, BUMN Track CEO, SH Sutarto, explained that this event appreciates the performance of state-owned enterprises. Awards are given to companies and their CEOs. Because the success of a company is inseparable from the performance of its leaders.

The 2024 State-Owned Enterprises Awards, now in its 13th year, carries the theme "Business Reinvention for Business Opportunity Optimization in Industry 4.0". This event serves as one indicator of state-owned enterprises' ability to build corporate governance to achieve business balance while still prioritizing corporate social responsibility.
In addition to Pupuk Indonesia, three subsidiaries also received awards at this event. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur received three awards, namely as the Best Corporate in Carbonization Initiatives, First Best Company in Developing Talent and Excellent Human Resources, and Pupuk Kalimantan Timur's President Director, Budi Wahju Soesilo, was also honored as The Best CEO Visionary Leadership.
Furthermore, Petrokimia Gresik and Pupuk Indonesia each received two awards. Petrokimia Gresik received the First Best Company in Digital Transformation and Petrokimia Gresik's President Director, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo, was also named the Best CEO in Developing Project Smart Precision Farming. Meanwhile, Pupuk Kujang was awarded the First Best Corporate Governance (GCG), and Pupuk Kujang's President Director, Maryono, was named the Best CEO in Utilization of Technology in Product Research.
