In commemoration of its 53rd anniversary, Pupuk Indonesia Niaga held social activities by providing compensation to orphans and the poor.

VP Sekper & Legal, Shinta explained, several series of activities have been prepared to welcome PI Niaga's anniversary which falls on December 28 2023. "Apart from sports competitions between work units, we have planned several social activities, one of which is by providing donations to orphans and the poor."

This compensation activity is a form of corporate responsibility as well as an expression of gratitude for advancing age. "We also invite all PI Niaga people to be moved to donate some of their wealth to help orphans and the poor. "In this way, PI Niaga employees also have a role and contribution in implementing sustainable development goals / SDGs on the social pillar," said Shinta.

Several orphanage foundations in South Jakarta were targeted by PI Niaga in providing compensation. The selection of the assistance location in South Jakarta was based on its location close to the PI Niaga head office. Meanwhile, for branch offices, this time PI Niaga Makassar Branch was chosen to provide compensation from the company and employees. Assistance in the form of money and basic necessities was donated to the Jabal Rahmad Orphanage, Adil Bahagia Orphanage and Al Wahab Orphanage.

"We would like to thank all parties who have participated in this social activity. By holding this donation event, we hope that we can strengthen our relationship with the community.
