PT Pupuk Indonesia Niaga and all members of the PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) group carried out the signing of the anti-fraud commitment and witnessed by the Assistant Deputy for Food and Fertilizer Industry.

Main Director of Pupuk Indonesia Niaga Hilman Taufik explained that the signing was a commitment to strengthen the anti-fraud culture for all Pupuk Indonesia Niaga employees. Pupuk Indonesia Niaga as a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has currently implemented the SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System to prevent all forms of bribery and fraud.

"Implementation of the SNI ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System provides guidelines for preventing, detecting and following up on bribery and other acts of corruption," said Hilman, in a press release, Monday (7/8/2023).

The signing of the Pupuk Indonesia Group Anti-fraud Policy and Commitment which was carried out was an agenda held by PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). On the same day other activities carried out were the Signing of the Addendum to the Cooperation Agreement between the KPK and PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency, and the Launching of the Multi Company WBS Application System.

Main Director of Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Rahmad Pribadi, explained that Pupuk Indonesia is currently undergoing a business transformation. For this reason, Pupuk Indonesia is committed to carrying out business transformation based on the principles of good corporate governance and upholding integrity and an anti-fraud culture.

"Currently we already have a WBS and are now more advanced because it is integrated with the KPK. This will certainly increase the credibility of anti-fraud management at the Pupuk Indonesia Group because WBS is an important component for controlling or preventing fraud," he said.

On the same occasion as an effort to increase commitment and understanding of anti-fraud culture within the company, Pupuk Indonesia Group consistently implements Anti-fraud Culture Internalization. One of them was through a workshop entitled "Strengthening the Culture and Anti-Fraud Commitment of Pupuk Indonesia Group" by presenting two speakers from BPKP and KPK.

The resource person from BPKP conveyed the model and impact of fraud in the BUMN environment. The material is based on data on fraud cases handled by BPKP from SOEs. Meanwhile the speaker from the Corruption Eradication Commission spoke about the real form of active participation of Company personnel in controlling and preventing fraud at the Pupuk Indonesia Group.

"This collaborative program with the KPK and LPSK is an implementation of the AKHLAK values ​​within the Pupuk Indonesia Group," said Rahmad.
