Pupuk Indonesia Niaga is a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding which runs its business in the field of fertilizer and non-fertilizer trading where the sources of Urea and NPK fertilizers come from five fertilizer producers who are members of the Pupuk Indonesia holding.

One of the non-fertilizer trade products is coating oil, where PI Niaga has won the procurement tender to meet the needs of East Kalimantan Pupuk, Sriwidjaja Palembang Pupuk and Kujang Pupuk.

Coating oil itself is an oil-based material that is made to coat fertilizer granules so that they do not break easily and clump, usually this coating oil is used to coat NPK fertilizer.

Director of Commercial & Operations Yusuf Trudo HDM Nainggolan said, PI Niaga had sent coating oil to Pusri. "Some time ago we sent around 37,500 kg of coating oil to PKT and 125,000 kg to Pusri Palembang with delivery in stages with the handover location at Pusri Palembang's warehousing and maintenance. "Following this, 240,000 kg will be sent to PKC," he said.

Here PI Niaga's role is as part of the coating oil supply chain for fertilizer factories which has been made specifically to coat the fertilizer that has been produced. In this way, PI Niaga supports maintaining the quality and increasing the benefits of fertilizer which will later be distributed to farmers.
